NeoTectus Recovery

Elastic postsurgical head, neck & face compression garment

Use: To dress, protect and support the various operative sites in the head, neck and face, following surgeries performed by neurological, head & neck, cosmetic and oral surgeons. It is designed to be used during the recovery period following surgery as a compression garment to apply gentle pressure to the underlying surgical sites to support the wound healing process.

1. Place NeoTectus over the head, then push down as if putting on a hat, with the Velcro strips positioned on the sides above the ears.

2. Push NeoTectus all the way on. Once securely on, the “base cuff,” which comes pre-folded at 3”, may be adjusted according to the head size by folding more, or less.

3. The facial strap (the mid-portion) then goes over the chin, and both ends are pulled upwards to attach to the Velcro strips above the ears on both sides.

4. If additional focal pressure is desired directly over the operative incisions, surgical gauzes, pads or gel ice pack(s) may be placed inside the “base cuff” overlying the incisions and in the pocket located in the middle of the facial strap, per your surgeon’s instructions.

Care Instructions: Hand wash in cold water only. Drip dry. Do not dry clean.

Warnings: Non-sterile. Contains Spandex. No Latex
